ABOUT THE GAME
Runner on the back of whatever you catch
Cowboy Safari mixes an endless animal ride with a light zoo tycoon loop. You charge across savannah, desert, and jungle stretches, throw a lasso onto zebras, buffalo, elephants, lions, and stranger mounts, then stay aboard long enough to count as tamed before the beast decides you are lunch.
Tamed critters feed a floating sky zoo. Tourists pay coins; coins buy habitats, upgrades, and room for rarer species that print more income. The run is the adrenaline; the zoo is why you restart after a bad leap.
This page embeds the ragdollhit2.io build. On-screen prompts usually teach hold-and-release in the first minute—listen to them before you invent your own timing.
HOW IT PLAYS
Ride, rage meter, next lasso
- 1
Hold to stay on, release to jump
Space or left-click (tap-and-hold on mobile) keeps you mounted and aiming. Release throws the lasso and hops you toward the next animal. Miss the window and you eat dirt.
- 2
Animals get angry
Every mount has a patience fuse. Color or ring cues (often a tightening yellow lasso circle) tell you when a hop is safe. Staying glued until full rage is how clean runs end mid-air.
- 3
Steer between leaps
Arrow keys (or side swipes) nudge left and right around obstacles while you ride. Forward speed is mostly automatic—your job is lane choice and jump timing.
WHAT YOU'RE BUILDING
A louder zoo, rarer rides
Between runs you spend coins on enclosures and unlocks so later safaris start richer. Common animals pad the early cash; rarer catches bump tourist payouts and keep the tycoon side from feeling like the same pen forever.
Biomes change the backdrop and the animal mix. Treat each zone as a new timing dialect—what works on a zebra lane can feel wrong on something heavier and slower.

TAMING TIPS
Leave before the buck
- Release on the tight ring — When the aim circle shrinks onto a nearby animal, that is your hop. Early releases whiff; late ones meet an already-angry mount.
- Learn one animal’s bounce — Speeds and jump arcs differ. A buffalo line needs different lead time than a zebra zig-zag—don’t reuse the same release beat for every species.
- Steer with a purpose — Nudge toward the next cluster before you jump. Blind mid-air lassos into empty grass are free deaths.
- Spend on habitats that match your catches — Upgrading pens you actually fill beats buying scenery you never stock. Cash flow is how later rare hunts stop feeling gated.
FAQ
Why do I keep getting thrown off?+
You stayed on one animal too long. Watch the anger/aim cues and hop with a release jump before the buck animation owns you.
What are zoo coins for?+
Tourist income from tamed animals funds enclosure upgrades and progression. Bigger, rarer collections usually mean better payouts for the next safari.
Can I play free without downloading?+
Yes. Cowboy Safari runs in the browser embed on this page—keyboard/mouse on desktop, hold-and-swipe on phones.
