ABOUT THE GAME
Backflips with consequences
Rooftop Flip is a casual HTML5 / Unity WebGL arcade stunt game built around timed rooftop leaps. You stand on a ledge, read a swinging direction arrow, launch across the gap, rotate through backflips, and try to arrive upright on the next pad.
The comedy and the skill check share the same physics: over-rotate and you ragdoll onto your head; under-jump and you vanish between buildings. Coins float along tempting arcs, score counters track jumps and flips, and later stages shrink platforms, widen gaps, and add moving targets.
Success funds new characters and tougher mission routes. Exact skin names and stage lists follow the hosted build—this page embeds a browser session with no install from here.
WHAT YOU DO
Aim, spin, stick the feet
- 1
Time the launch arrow
Wait until the direction marker points at a safe landing zone, then click or tap to jump. Angle and timing set both distance and how much air time you get for tricks.
- 2
Control midair rotation
Hold input in flight to tuck and spin; release to slow the flip and line up your legs. Extra rotations raise the score—only if you still clear the roof.
- 3
Land feet-first
Touch down on both feet near the center of the platform. Head, back, or edge clips usually end the attempt in a ragdoll fail.
- 4
Collect coins carefully
Floating coins fund unlocks, but swinging wide for every shiny often ruins the landing. Clear the gap first, then greed.
- 5
Unlock and climb stages
Mission clears and coin banks open new characters and harder rooftops—narrow pads, moving trucks or containers in some builds, and longer chains of flips.
WORLD & CONTENT
City ledges that keep getting meaner
Early roofs teach the launch-and-land loop on generous pads. Higher routes stack risk: tiny ledges, long gaps, height changes, and hazards that punish late releases. Some editions move the fantasy beyond apartments into cranes, trains, or novelty skins—treat whatever stages appear in your embed as the live playlist.
Meta progress is light and session-friendly: coins, flip/jump counters, high scores, and a character roster (hosts often mention themed skins such as ninja, animal, or astronaut looks). There is no heavy campaign narrative—just cleaner landings and braver flip chains.

SESSION TIPS
More stuck landings, fewer faceplants
- Distance before style — Clear the gap with a clean feet-first touch before farming extra spins for score.
- Release a beat early — Waiting until the last frame of a flip often plants you on your back—open the tuck sooner than you think.
- Aim for pad center — Edge landings slide off even when the rotation looked perfect.
- Skip greedy coins on new stages — Learn the arc first; pick up floaters once the landing feels automatic.
- Practice arrow patience — Jumping the moment you feel ready—not when the arrow agrees—causes most early fails.
- Click the frame once — If clicks do nothing, focus the embed so the browser sends mouse or touch into the WebGL player.
FAQ
What is Rooftop Flip?+
It is a free browser physics arcade game where you leap between rooftops, perform midair backflips, land on your feet, collect coins, and unlock characters as stages get harder.
How do I jump and flip?+
Watch the direction arrow and click or tap to launch. Hold to control rotation in the air, then release so you can plant a feet-first landing. Some builds use a charge-and-release launch—match the on-screen hint.
Why did I fail after a cool flip?+
Tricks do not count if you miss the roof or land on your head/side. Prioritize a centered, upright landing over extra rotations.
What are coins for?+
Coins typically unlock new characters and help you push into tougher missions. Exact shop contents depend on the hosted version.
Do I need to download anything?+
Not from this site. The session loads in the embed. Wait through the first asset load before refreshing.
Can I play on mobile?+
Yes—tap and hold map to the mouse controls. A larger screen still makes arrow timing easier to read.
